11th Annual Beach Jam for Breast Cancer
October 16, 2019
The 2019 11th Annual Beach Jam for Breast Cancer, held in August at the Westbrook Elks Club, raised $25,000 for Smilow breast cancer patient assistance. The Beach Jam, attended by hundreds of people every year, has provided nearly $200,000 for breast cancer patient support since its inaugural year, and we are very grateful for the tremendous effort and spirit that is poured into each event. Pictured at the check presentation are (l to r) Nancy Malafronte, co-chair; Jim Pino; co-chair and member of the band Freeplay; Bethany Larkin, MSHA, RN-BC, OCN, Assistant Patient Services Manager for Women’s Services; Ray Smith, Exalted Ruler, Westbrook Elks Club.
