8th Annual Battle of the Badges

Capt. Von Narcisse (left) and Lt. Jay Jones of the Yale University Police Department dropped by Smilow Cancer Hospital to meet with Camille Servodidio, RN, MPH, OCN, CBCN, CCRP, NE-BC, Program Manager Women’s Oncology Services and deliver proceeds from the 8th annual Battle of the Badges bench press competition. This competition, held in April at the Payne Whitney Gymnasium on the Yale campus and involving teams of 3 from law enforcement, civilians and students, has directed several thousands of dollars to Smilow breast cancer patient services and clinical research. Sgt. James Scott, CT State Police, an originator and founder of the Battle of the Badges event, is absent from the photo.
