Over two centuries, that commitment has shaped Yale New Haven Hospital into one of the nation’s leading healthcare institutions. Today, we are the fourth‑largest hospital in the United States, with 1,541 beds and one of the country’s busiest emergency departments—yet our purpose has never wavered: to deliver exceptional care with dignity, respect, and humanity.
