Bake Sale for Phase I Clinical Trial at Smilow

Madison Marcus from Orange and a student at Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, presents a check to Dr. Navid Hafez, medical oncologist in the The Phase I Clinical Trial Infusion Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital. The proceeds from Madison’s June bake sale at the Chef’s Emporium in Orange and online fundraising total over $3,500 and will be directed to patient care in the Phase I Center. Her mother, Paulette Marcus (center), is currently a patient in the Center. Madison is joined by her father Brad, as well as Mandy DeMerchant, APRN and Binaish Khan, Research Coordinator, from the Phase I Center.
