Blocks of Hope

October 20, 2025

Shaurya Ranjan (left), a senior at South Windsor High School, founded Blocks of Hope at 14 years old, after completing treatment for Stage 3 Lymphoma. Throughout the chemotherapy sessions and hospital stays, one thing that brought comfort was Lego sets. This inspired Shaurya to create Blocks of Hope to help children facing similar challenges.

Shaurya donated 100 LEGO® sets from Blocks of Hope to Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital in August and recently donated 100 Holiday themed LEGO® sets on October 20th. “I want to bring the same joy, comfort, and creativity to others that helped me through my own journey, one block at a time.”

Thank you so much Shaurya for your support!
